About Filia Dredging

Filia Dredging is a young family owned dredging company based in Werkendam, the Netherlands. With our passionate team we operate the trailing suction hopper dredger Willem Sr.

Filia Dredging was founded with the purchase of the TSHD Willem Sr, as an expansion of a shipping company that has been operating worldwide for more than 30 years. The knowledge of the sea, ships and dredging form the strong basis for Filia Dredging.

Filia Dredging is a small company. This means that the lines of communication are very short, allowing us to make decisions quickly and deliver immediate results. Flexibility and thinking about possibilities is our strength, reliability and honesty are our fundamental values.

Our young and enthusiastic team has a passion for production and efficiency. Together we do not shy away from a challenge. There is a ‘can-do mentality’ within our company. Together with expertise and care for equipment, this results in maximum efficiency of our trailing suction hopper dredger.

The customer’s wishes come first at Filia Dredging. We work for customers in the Netherlands but also abroad. The Willem Sr has already been modified for work several times. This way our customers always have the perfect tool for the job.
